Working Wonders
December, 2009
The wonderful Working Wonders charity booked me to come along and photograph the feel of their community Christmas party. This was a well organised event, with many members from the local community enjoying the atmosphere. I photographed some informal shots of the meal, the carol singing, and then the party in full flow.
Teenage Mum's Christmas Party
December, 2009
I was invited along to a Christmas party for teenage mothers over in the East End. The main attraction of course was the appearance of Father Christmas! The client that sponsored the event specifically requested individual photographs of each mother and child with Santa. Babies, Christmas and Santa - what could go wrong! A fantastic afternoon, with a genuine community feel.
Stepney Farm Volunteers Day
August, 2009
I was booked to spend a day at the wonderful
Stepping Stones Farm
in Stepney. A team of fifty volunteers from Rothschilds Investment Bank spent the day clearing, and then building new structures around the community farm. With blues skies and the hottest day of the year, I wasn't short on composition ideas! Over three hundred photographs were handed over to the client. A fantastic place to work!
Rothschilds Investment Bank
July, 2009
This was part of a regular booking, helping to promote the education and community work carried out by a major investment bank. This particular photo shoot was focussed on a mentor session. Employees of the bank work closely alongside local school children, supporting them in their work, and advising them on future career and life choices.
Bronze Woman Statue
October, 2008
A commission to capture the unveiling ceremony of the
Bronze Woman Statue
in South London. Brilliant sunshine brought out the colour of the occasion. I provided the client with over one hundred images, some formal, and some photojournalism.
Roda & David
September, 2008
A full on day photographing a fantastic couple on their special ocassion. I spent the morning with the Bridal party, then on to the wedding ceremony, followed by the evening party and plenty of fun. Roda & David specifically requested some Holga style shots as above, as well as the more traditional wedding photographs.
Sandra & Michael
September, 2008
A late summer wedding, and wonderful wedding for bride, groom and... photographer. My shoot included the full wedding ceremony, formal pictures afterwards, and then the evening celebration of a very warm and friendly couple.
Tracey & William
August, 2008
A perfectly timed summer wedding - heavy rain on the way to get married, and then glorious sunshine to enjoy at the lovely Surrey location! I spent the morning with the bride, witnessed a moving service and then took control with the formal photos. With a high number of family and friends on both sides, it was slightly challenging, but then we all had great fun at the evening celebration. Congratulations to the fantastic couple, and their wonderful family.
Supernova Korfball Club
July, 2008
A commission to capture all the fun (and fierce competition!) of the annual
Supernova korfball
Companies Tournament
, Clapham Common. I was lucky with the sunlight, attempting shots both directly at the sun, and with the full natural backlight behind me. A fun shoot!

Engagement Party
April, 2008
A fantastic, friendly party to celebrate the engagement of a lovely couple. Photographs were taken both indoors and out, formal and informal. Just over 200 pictures were presented to the soon-to-be weds, with their closest family and friends all sharing the occasion.
Introducing the Band
March, 2008
An afternoon spent around the South Bank with my new favourite band,
Coppers For Karma
. This was an experimental photo shoot for both photographer and band. I chose the setting and the boys proved to be very creative and had a clear direction for what images they were after. The end product is over 200 photographs that are to be used both online and offline for various promotional purposes. Catch them gigging if you can!

Happy Birthday!
February, 2008
A frantic but fun morning spent celebrating the first birthday party of a fine young fella. Plenty of children, toys and noise! No end of photo opportunities. The lovely local family now have over 250 images capturing a very special moment.
Local Residents Group
February, 2008
A commission by a local residents group who wanted to capture a feel for their area at sunset. This image was taken as the sun was setting on Vauxhall Bridge, looking out Westwards towards Battersea Power Station. The photograph has now been used in some promotional literature explaining the campaigning work of the local group.
Ministry of Justice
January, 2008
The client specifically requested a 1930's sepia style shot to match the grand splendour of the setting. Another requirement of the job was a speedy turnaround as the final image was to be used in a corporate presentation less than two hours after the photo shoot. I had the image taken, edited and then hand delivered to a satisfied client, still with time to spare. Phew!
"
I just want to thank you for all the effort you put in at the event. We think the photos look great and everyone was happy with the final picture

Tripos Architects
December, 2007
The Michael Faraday Memorial is a unique metallic building situated at the Elephant and Castle roundabout in South London. I spent a cold winter's morning capturing the unique feel of the building at the request of an architectural firm. The final images were used in a report submitted to try and gain listed status for the building from
English Heritage

October, 2007
An incredibly friendly day spent helping Joy and Anthony celebrate their wedding. I captured the entire day for the happy couple, through from early morning preparations with the bride, right up until the last dance. Joy and Anthony now have five hundred photographs to remember the occasion with, and I am grateful for them allowing me to share in the happiness of their special day.

Genesis Housing Group
August, 2007
I was commissioned by a local housing group to capture the feel of the after-school football coaching sessions that the organisation is funding at Larkhall Park in South London. The standard of football was high, and the enthusiasm of the coaches for the project was infectious. My final portfolio of pictures was exhibited at an open day to celebrate the fine work of this local organisation.
